Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) (strength not specified), humectants (e.g., glycerin) and water-based serum base (exact full INCI varies by pack/market). It belongs to the Topical humectant (hyaluronic acid serum) class of medicines.
Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that attracts and binds water in the stratum corneum to improve skin hydration. By increasing water content of the outer skin layers, it temporarily plumps skin and reduces the appearance of fine dehydration lines.
For external use only. Apply 2–3 drops to clean, slightly damp face and neck once or twice daily; follow with a moisturiser. Use sunscreen in the daytime. Avoid contact with eyes and broken/irritated skin.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
