Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Nosikind -0.1% Nasal Spray, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine may cause a racing heart, restlessness and a rise in blood pressure if swallowed. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Most side effects of Nosikind -0.1% are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Do not use a medicated nasal decongestant for more than the few days stated on the pack. Longer use causes rebound congestion that is worse than the original block. Saline drops and sprays have no such limit and are safe for repeated use. Use your own bottle only — sharing spreads infection.

Do not take Nosikind -0.1% if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Decongestant sprays are not suitable for very young children without medical advice.

Interactions with other medicines

Decongestants can raise blood pressure; tell your doctor if you are hypertensive.

How to store Nosikind -0.1% 10 ml

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.

Nosikind -0.1% Nasal Spray works right away and each dose provides relief for up to 12 hours. The right way to use the nasal spray: Shake the bottle before using the medicine. Clean your nose thoroughly before using the medicine. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. Breathe out gently through your mouth and repeat the same process for the other nostril. Nosikind -0.1% Nasal Spray can make nasal congestion worse if used for more than 7 days in a row (called rebound congestion). Avoid deep breathing as it will cause medication to go back to the throat and make it less effective. Do not share the bottle with anyone else so that you do not spread germs.
