Composition

Omeprazole 20 mg (enteric-coated) + Domperidone 30 mg (sustained release) capsule

Uses of Ocid Dsr Cap

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn and acid reflux, gastritis and peptic ulcer disease (adjunct), nausea/vomiting associated with acidity or reflux

How it works

Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid by blocking the H+/K+ ATPase pump in gastric parietal cells. Domperidone is a peripheral dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist that enhances gastric motility and helps relieve nausea and reflux symptoms.

Directions for use

Oral capsule. Usually taken once daily 30 minutes before breakfast; swallow whole without crushing or chewing (SR/enteric-coated). Use as directed by a doctor; do not take more than prescribed.
