How Rexizole B Cream works

REXIZOLE B Cream is typically an antifungal combination product. The antifungal component stops growth of fungi by damaging their cell membrane, while the added anti-inflammatory component reduces redness, swelling and itching.

How to take Rexizole B Cream

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to the affected skin as advised by the doctor (commonly 1–2 times daily). Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin; wash hands after application unless hands are the treated area.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Rexizole B as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Rexizole B than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Rexizole B Cream

Most side effects of Rexizole B are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Do not use on face/groin/underarms for prolonged periods unless advised. Prolonged or excessive use of steroid-combination creams can cause skin thinning, stretch marks, acneiform eruptions and may worsen or mask infections. Stop and consult a doctor if irritation, worsening, or no improvement in 1–2 weeks. Use with caution in children and during pregnancy/breastfeeding; avoid application on large areas, under occlusion, or near nipples while breastfeeding.

Interactions with other medicines

Usually minimal with topical use. Increased risk of side effects with other topical corticosteroids on the same area; occlusive dressings can increase absorption. Inform doctor about other creams/ointments being used on the same site.

How to store Rexizole B Cream

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Do not freeze. Keep cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.
