Composition

Levosalbutamol (as Levalbuterol) inhalation aerosol 50 mcg per actuation + Beclometasone dipropionate inhalation aerosol 50 mcg per actuation

Uses of SALBAIR-B INH 1S

Maintenance treatment of asthma and wheezing with airway inflammation; helps prevent symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness and cough. Not meant for relief of sudden acute asthma attacks.

How it works

Beclometasone is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, swelling and mucus production over time. Levosalbutamol is a short-acting beta2-agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscles to open the airways and ease breathing.

Directions for use

Inhalation use only. Use exactly as prescribed; commonly 1–2 puffs twice daily. Rinse mouth and gargle with water after each use to reduce risk of oral thrush. If using other inhalers, use bronchodilator first and steroid combination as advised. Not for sudden breathlessness—keep a rescue inhaler available if prescribed.
