Levosalbutamol (Levalbuterol) 1.25 mg/2.5 mL nebuliser solution (respules)
Relief and prevention of bronchospasm in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness
Levosalbutamol is a selective beta-2 adrenergic agonist. It relaxes bronchial smooth muscle, leading to bronchodilation and improved airflow, thereby relieving wheeze and breathlessness.
For inhalation via nebulizer only. Use 1 respule (2.5 mL) as prescribed; typically nebulized over 5–10 minutes. Use with or without food; do not swallow or inject. Use the solution immediately after opening and follow nebulizer cleaning instructions.

Use with caution in heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes and seizure disorders. May cause paradoxical bronchospasm; stop and seek medical help if wheezing worsens after use. Excess use can cause significant tachycardia, low potassium and worsening asthma control—seek medical advice if needing frequent doses. Use cautiously with other bronchodilators/stimulants.
