Betahistine (16mg)
Treatment of Ménière’s disease and vestibular vertigo, including symptoms such as dizziness/vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in ears), nausea and hearing disturbance.
Betahistine is a histamine analogue (mainly H1 agonist and H3 antagonist). It improves microcirculation in the inner ear by increasing blood flow and reducing endolymph pressure, which helps reduce vertigo symptoms.
Take by mouth as directed by a doctor. Usually taken in divided doses (e.g., 2–3 times daily); take with food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow tablet with water; do not exceed prescribed dose.
Common side effects of Sanristine Tab may include:
Use with caution in patients with bronchial asthma, peptic ulcer disease/history of ulcers, or severe allergies. Not recommended in pheochromocytoma. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist/worsen or if you develop severe allergic reactions. May cause mild drowsiness in some people—use caution while driving if affected.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Sanristine Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
