Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Unifuci Ointment, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from skin use. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Use it for the short course prescribed, usually about a week. Prolonged use of a topical antibiotic breeds resistant bacteria. Do not use it on large raw areas or burns unless your doctor has said to.

How to store Unifuci Cream

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Close the cap tightly after each use. Keep out of the reach of children.

Use Unifuci Ointment for the full duration prescribed, even if the skin appears to improve earlier. Stop using Unifuci Ointment and consult your doctor if you develop a rash, blistering, or worsening irritation. Inform your doctor if the infection worsens or returns after stopping Unifuci Ointment. Do not use Unifuci Ointment on infants or large/deep wounds without consulting your doctor.
