How UV-Jour Acne works

UV-JOUR ACNE is a topical anti-acne skincare preparation. Depending on its active ingredients, it may help by reducing excess sebum, keeping pores clear (comedolytic effect), and limiting acne-causing bacteria/inflammation on the skin.

How to take UV-Jour Acne

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry face/affected area once or twice daily or as directed by a dermatologist. Avoid contact with eyes, lips and broken/irritated skin; wash hands after application. If used in daytime, apply sunscreen as advised.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of UV-Jour Acne as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more UV-Jour Acne than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of UV-Jour Acne

Most side effects of UV-Jour Acne are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Patch test before first use if you have sensitive skin. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling, blistering or allergic reaction occurs. Avoid use on cuts, eczema or sunburned skin unless prescribed. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure if the product contains exfoliating/anti-acne actives (e.g., retinoids/AHAs/BHAs). Keep out of reach of children.

Interactions with other medicines

If used with other topical acne products (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, AHAs) it may increase dryness/irritation. Avoid layering multiple irritant products unless advised by a dermatologist.

How to store UV-Jour Acne

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the cap tightly closed.
