Uses of Wokadine 10% Solution

Skin antiseptic for cleaning/disinfecting minor cuts, wounds, abrasions and burns; pre-operative skin preparation; antiseptic cleansing to help prevent infection.

How it works

Povidone iodine slowly releases free iodine on the skin. Iodine penetrates microorganisms and oxidizes/iodinates proteins and nucleic acids, leading to broad-spectrum antimicrobial action against bacteria, fungi, viruses and some protozoa.

Directions for use

For external use only. Apply undiluted on the affected area using cotton/gauze and allow to dry; can be used 1–3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. For pre-op skin prep, apply to the surgical site as per hospital protocol. Avoid contact with eyes and do not swallow.
