Adrenaline (0.0125mg) + Lidocaine (21.33mg)
Xicaine Injection is used in the treatment of local anesthesia.
Xicaine Injection is a combination of two medicines: Lidoacaine and Epinephrine. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. Adrenaline is a vasoconstrictor which tightens the blood vessels to slow the dispersal, and thereby prolong the effect of Lidocaine. Together, they numb the area effectively and allow medical procedures/surgeries to be performed without pain.
Use only as directed by a doctor/veterinarian. Administer by the specified route (e.g., infiltration/nerve block/topical as applicable) in an appropriate dose based on the procedure and patient condition.

Prescription-only use. Local anaesthetics can cause serious toxicity if overdosed or accidentally injected into a blood vessel (CNS symptoms, seizures, cardiac arrhythmias). Use with caution in liver disease, heart rhythm disorders, low blood pressure, elderly, and debilitated patients. Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics (amide/ester type—confirm). Seek urgent care for breathing difficulty, facial swelling, severe dizziness, seizures, or chest pain.
