Zenflox-UTI Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Flavoxate, which treats urinary tract infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Flavoxate is an anti-spasmodic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination, and relieves associated pain.
How to take Zenflox-Uti
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zenflox-UTI Tablet may be taken with or without food.

If you miss a dose of Zenflox-UTI Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Tell your doctor about any change in mood, confusion or agitation. Avoid strong sunlight and use sun protection — this group makes the skin burn more easily. Finish the whole course; this group is heavily associated with antibiotic resistance and should be used only when prescribed. This is a prescription-only medicine. Take it exactly as your doctor has directed, for the period directed. Do not share it with anyone else, even if their symptoms seem the same. Tell your doctor about every other medicine, supplement and herbal product you take. Report any unexpected or severe symptom to your doctor rather than stopping on your own.

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Generally avoided in children and adolescents, in pregnancy, and in anyone with a history of tendon problems with these antibiotics. Your doctor will confirm this medicine is suitable for you.
Interactions with other medicines
Antacids, iron, zinc, calcium and milk markedly reduce absorption — separate them by at least two hours. Tell your doctor if you take steroids, a blood thinner or a medicine for heart rhythm. Give your doctor and pharmacist a full list of everything you take.

Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma (a disease associated with increased eye pressure).
