Uses of Zithrocin XL Susp

Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as ear infection (otitis media), throat/tonsil infection (pharyngitis/tonsillitis), sinusitis, bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia, and skin/soft tissue infections as prescribed by a doctor

How it works

Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. This stops bacterial growth and helps the immune system clear the infection.

Directions for use

Oral suspension: reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark, shake well before each dose. Give the measured dose once daily as prescribed (often for 3 days). Can be taken with or without food; if stomach upset occurs, take after food. Complete the full course even if you feel better.
