Sitagliptin (50mg) + Glimepiride (2mg) + Metformin (1000mg)
Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise alone or single therapy is insufficient; helps control blood glucose levels.
Glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) increases insulin release from the pancreas and improves insulin action. Metformin (a biguanide) reduces glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity, lowering blood sugar without usually causing hypoglycaemia when used alone.
Take by mouth as prescribed, usually once or twice daily with meals (preferably with breakfast and/or main meals) to reduce stomach upset and risk of low sugar. Swallow tablet with water; do not skip meals. Dose is individualized based on blood glucose; do not self-adjust.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Zoryl Ms Ir 1/500MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Risk of hypoglycaemia (higher with missed meals, alcohol, heavy exercise, elderly, kidney/liver impairment). Metformin may rarely cause lactic acidosis—seek urgent care for rapid breathing, severe weakness, drowsiness, abdominal pain. Use caution/avoid in severe renal impairment, severe liver disease, alcohol misuse, dehydration, severe infection, shock, or hypoxia states; withhold around major surgery or iodinated contrast procedures as advised. Monitor kidney function, HbA1c, and blood glucose regularly.
