Rabeprazole sodium 20 mg
Treatment of acid-related disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic/duodenal ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome; also used as part of H. pylori eradication therapy with antibiotics.
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It irreversibly blocks the H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) in stomach parietal cells, thereby reducing gastric acid secretion and relieving acidity and ulcer symptoms.
Take by mouth as advised by the doctor. Commonly taken once daily, preferably 30 minutes before food (often before breakfast). Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew.
Common side effects of ZUROPRAZ 20MG TAB may include:

Seek medical advice if you have alarm symptoms such as blood in vomit/black stools, unexplained weight loss, persistent vomiting, or difficulty swallowing. May mask symptoms of gastric cancer; evaluate if symptoms persist. Inform doctor if you have osteoporosis or are on diuretics/digoxin.
