How Zycet M Tablet works
Levocetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine. It blocks peripheral H1-histamine receptors and reduces the effects of histamine released during allergic reactions, thereby relieving sneezing, itching, runny nose and watery eyes.
How to take Zycet M Tablet
Tablet for oral use. Take as directed by your doctor, usually once daily (often in the evening). Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Missed dose and overdose
If you miss a dose
If you miss a dose of Zycet M 5mg/10mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
If you take too much
An overdose of this medicine can cause severe drowsiness, a fast heartbeat, confusion and, in children, agitation and fits. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
