Supportive care for hyperlipidaemia (high cholesterol/triglycerides), atherosclerosis risk management, adjunct to diet and lifestyle for cardiovascular health
Abana is a polyherbal formulation with lipid-lowering, antioxidant and anti-atherogenic actions described in Ayurvedic/clinical literature. It may help reduce serum lipids and improve endothelial function by reducing oxidative stress and supporting lipid metabolism.
Oral tablet. Common adult use: 1–2 tablets twice daily, preferably after meals, or as directed by a physician. Continue along with diet, exercise and other prescribed therapy.
Gastric discomfort, nausea, abdominal bloating, diarrhoea, headache, allergic reaction (rare)
If you have liver disease, kidney disease, thyroid disorder, diabetes, bleeding disorders, or are on long-term medicines (especially statins/anticoagulants), consult a doctor before use. Stop and seek medical advice if rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, persistent stomach upset, or any unusual symptoms occur. Not a substitute for prescribed lipid-lowering therapy in high-risk patients unless advised by physician.
May have additive effects with lipid-lowering drugs (e.g., statins, fibrates) and antiplatelet/anticoagulant medicines (e.g., aspirin, clopidogrel, warfarin); monitor if used together. Potential interaction with antidiabetic medicines (may affect glycaemic control)
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
