Accu BP Monitor is a medicine. It is used for home monitoring of blood pressure (systolic, diastolic), pulse rate, useful for screening, routine follow-up in hypertension and and tracking response to therapy.
Use as per user manual. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Accu BP Monitor are transient arm discomfort from cuff inflation, skin irritation (rare) and inaccurate readings if cuff size/position is wrong. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Accu BP Monitor works.

Most side effects of Accu BP Monitor are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
Use as per user manual. Sit calmly for 5 minutes; avoid caffeine/exercise/smoking 30 minutes prior. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm at heart level, keep feet flat and arm supported, and remain still/silent during measurement. Take 2–3 readings 1 minute apart and record the average.
The monitor uses the oscillometric method. As the cuff inflates and deflates, it detects pressure oscillations in the artery and calculates systolic/diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate using an internal algorithm.
Not for emergency diagnosis; consult a doctor for very high/low readings or symptoms (chest pain, breathlessness, weakness, severe headache). Incorrect cuff size, movement, talking, arrhythmias, tremors, or improper arm position can affect accuracy. Use with caution in patients with severe arrhythmias, peripheral vascular disease, or on dialysis—confirm with clinician if readings are inconsistent. Keep out of reach of children; small parts/batteries may be hazardous.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep in the protective case when not in use. Do not bend/kink the air tube; remove batteries if not used for long periods.
