Aceclofenac 100 mg

Relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and other acute painful inflammatory conditions.

Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis. This decreases inflammation, pain and swelling.

Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed by the doctor, usually 100 mg twice daily. Preferably take after food with water; do not crush or chew unless advised.

Acidity/heartburn, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, rash, raised liver enzymes

NSAIDs may increase risk of stomach/intestinal bleeding and ulcer, especially with prolonged use, older age, alcohol use, or with steroids/anticoagulants. Use with caution in history of peptic ulcer/bleeding, asthma, kidney disease, liver disease, heart disease, hypertension, and in elderly. Stop and seek medical help if black stools, blood vomiting, severe abdominal pain, swelling, breathlessness, or allergic rash occurs. Avoid use in severe heart failure and severe kidney/liver impairment unless specifically advised.

Anticoagulants/antiplatelets (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel), corticosteroids, SSRIs/SNRIs, other NSAIDs, methotrexate, lithium, digoxin, antihypertensives (ACE inhibitors/ARBs, diuretics), cyclosporine/tacrolimus, alcohol

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children.
