Before you take it
Amlokind 5 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Amlokind 5 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Amlokind 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Amlokind 5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Amlokind 5 Tablet is started at a lower dose in patients with liver disease and further increased slowly with careful monitoring.
Ankle swelling, flushing, headache, dizziness.
Stand up slowly to reduce dizziness; report worsening chest pain or severe swelling.
Grapefruit juice raises the level of some of these medicines in the blood — avoid it. Tell your doctor about other blood pressure medicines, and about simvastatin in particular.
Store at room temperature.
