Before you take it
Amlokind-AT Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Amlokind-AT Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Atenolol and alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
May cause drowsiness or affect your concentration. Do not drive until you know how it affects you.
Amlokind-AT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Amlokind-AT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended and can help in better dose adjustment.
Amlokind-AT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Amlokind-AT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Amlokind-AT Tablet is started at a lower dose in patients with liver disease and further increased slowly with careful monitoring.
Ankle swelling, flushing, headache, dizziness.
Stand up slowly to reduce dizziness; report worsening chest pain or severe swelling.
Grapefruit juice raises the level of some of these medicines in the blood — avoid it. Tell your doctor about other blood pressure medicines, and about simvastatin in particular. Combining with verapamil or diltiazem can slow the heart dangerously. Tell your doctor about diabetes medicines and about any asthma inhaler.
Store at room temperature.
