Apexfer Suspension

Apexfer Suspension contains Sodium(2.89 Mg/5ml)+Elemental Iron(10.0 Mg/5ml)+Glycine(10.0 Mg/5ml) and is used for this medicine is used.

This medicine is used in the treatment of nutritional deficiency, dietary supplementation, protein supplementation, nutritional support and recovery and convalescence.

This medicine combines 3 active ingredients: Sodium, Iron and Glycine. Sodium supplies a vitamin, mineral or nutrient that your diet may not be providing in sufficient amount. Iron supplies a vitamin, mineral or nutrient that your diet may not be providing in sufficient amount. Glycine supplies protein and amino acids, the building blocks your body uses to repair and maintain muscle and tissue.

Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure it with the cup, spoon or dropper supplied — a kitchen spoon is not an accurate measure. Take it with or after food. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Nausea, Constipation, Stomach upset, Loose motions, Bloating, Flatulence

A supplement is not a substitute for a balanced diet or for treating the cause of a symptom. Iron makes stools black and can cause constipation — this is expected, but tell your doctor if it troubles you. Keep iron-containing products well out of reach of children; an overdose in a small child is a medical emergency. Check the labels of everything you take so you do not double up on the same nutrient. Tell your doctor before taking a protein supplement if you have kidney disease — the protein load matters. Drink plenty of water while taking a protein supplement. Check the label for milk or soy if you have an allergy or are lactose intolerant.

Iron, calcium, zinc and magnesium reduce the absorption of thyroid tablets and several antibiotics — separate them by a few hours. Tea and coffee taken with iron reduce how much is absorbed; vitamin C increases it. No significant medicine interactions are expected for most protein supplements.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Once opened, use it within the period printed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children.
