Nutritional supplement used to help prevent or treat vitamin/mineral deficiencies and support energy, immunity and general wellbeing (exact indication depends on label composition).

Provides essential vitamins/minerals (and possibly antioxidants/tonics) that replenish dietary deficiencies. This supports normal metabolic functions, red blood cell formation, nerve function and immune health depending on the ingredients.

Oral tablet. Take as directed by physician/label, commonly 1 tablet once daily after food with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Nausea, stomach upset, constipation, diarrhea, headache, metallic taste, dark stools (if iron present)

Check the label for exact ingredients and dosing. Use with caution in kidney disease, liver disease, history of kidney stones (if high vitamin C/calcium), iron overload disorders (if iron present) and in patients on multiple supplements to avoid overdose (vitamins A/D, iron). Keep out of reach of children; accidental overdose of iron-containing products can be fatal in children. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a chronic illness, consult a doctor before use.

May interact with antacids/calcium (reduces iron absorption), levothyroxine (separate by 4 hours), tetracyclines/quinolones (separate by 2–6 hours if minerals like iron/zinc/calcium present), warfarin (if vitamin K present), methotrexate/antiepileptics (folate-related), other multivitamins (risk of overdose).

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep container tightly closed.
