Nutritional deficiencies

Bethadoxin 12 Injection is a combination of five nutritional supplements: Methylcobalamin, Thiamine(Vitamin B1), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Nicotinamide and D-Panthenol which replenish the body's stores of important nutrients.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Tingling, numbness or burning in the hands and feet should be assessed by a doctor rather than self-treated — a supplement does not address the cause. Folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency while nerve damage continues, so B12 should be checked before taking folic acid long term. Bright yellow urine after a B-complex dose is expected and harmless. Apply generously and often — several times a day, and always within a few minutes of a bath while the skin is still damp. Some paraffin-based emollients are flammable when they soak into clothing and bedding. Keep away from open flames and cigarettes. Stop if the skin becomes more red, itchy or sore after use.

Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect. No significant interactions are expected.

Store as printed on the carton — some injections need refrigeration and must not be frozen. Keep out of the reach of children.
