Curcumin is a polyphenolic compound from turmeric with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. It helps modulate inflammatory pathways (e.g., NF-κB, COX/LOX-related mediators) and reduces oxidative stress, which may support joint and overall health.

Oral tablet. Typically 1 tablet once daily or as directed by a healthcare professional; take with food (preferably with a fat-containing meal) for better absorption. Swallow whole with water.

Not a substitute for a varied diet. Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have gallbladder disease/gallstones, bleeding disorders, GERD, liver disease, or are scheduled for surgery. Curcumin may increase bleeding risk when taken with blood thinners/antiplatelets; stop 1-2 weeks before surgery if advised by clinician. Discontinue and seek medical advice if hypersensitivity occurs.

Anticoagulants/antiplatelets (warfarin, acenocoumarol, heparin, aspirin, clopidogrel), NSAIDs (increased bleeding risk), antidiabetic medicines (may enhance glucose-lowering), antihypertensives (additive BP lowering possible), drugs with narrow therapeutic index metabolized by CYP enzymes (theoretical)
