Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a fat‑soluble antioxidant that protects cell membranes from damage by free radicals. It supports normal immune function and helps maintain healthy skin and nerve function.
Capsule: take as directed by physician, usually once daily after भोजन/with food (fat-containing meal improves absorption). Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, headache, fatigue, rash
Use with caution in patients on blood thinners/antiplatelets or with bleeding disorders (high-dose vitamin E may increase bleeding risk). Consult doctor if you have liver disease, vitamin K deficiency, or are scheduled for surgery. Do not exceed recommended dose; stop and seek medical advice if allergic reactions occur.
Warfarin and other anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs (aspirin, clopidogrel), cholestyramine/colestipol (reduced absorption), orlistat (reduced absorption), high-dose vitamin K (may affect bleeding balance)
