Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially when a beta-blocker plus ARB combination is required; helps reduce risk of cardiovascular events like stroke/heart attack related to uncontrolled BP.

Bisoprolol is a selective beta-1 blocker that slows heart rate and reduces the force of contraction, lowering blood pressure and cardiac workload. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II, thereby lowering blood pressure.

Take orally as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow whole with water. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice; if a dose is missed, take it when remembered unless it is close to the next dose.

Dizziness, fatigue, headache, slow heart rate (bradycardia), low blood pressure, nausea, diarrhea, cold extremities, increased potassium, cough (rare), kidney function changes

Not for use in pregnancy; can harm the unborn baby—stop and consult a doctor if pregnancy occurs. Use caution in kidney impairment, liver disease, dehydration, low blood pressure, electrolyte imbalance (especially high potassium), diabetes (may mask hypoglycemia symptoms), asthma/COPD (beta-blocker may worsen bronchospasm), and heart conduction disorders/bradycardia. Monitor blood pressure, heart rate, kidney function and potassium periodically. Do not discontinue bisoprolol abruptly due to risk of rebound angina/arrhythmia; taper under medical supervision.

Other antihypertensives (additive hypotension), diuretics (increased risk of low BP/renal effects), potassium supplements/salt substitutes and potassium-sparing diuretics (hyperkalemia), NSAIDs like ibuprofen/diclofenac (reduced BP effect and kidney risk), lithium (toxicity risk), digoxin and certain antiarrhythmics (bradycardia/heart block), calcium channel blockers like verapamil/diltiazem (excess bradycardia/heart block), clonidine (withdrawal hypertension), insulin/oral antidiabetics (masked hypoglycemia), alcohol (increased dizziness)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
