Syrup

Relief of productive (wet) cough and chest congestion in children; helps loosen mucus and ease breathing in conditions such as acute bronchitis/common cold with phlegm (as advised by a doctor).

This is a combination cough syrup typically used for wet cough. It works by thinning and loosening thick mucus (mucolytic) and helping expel it (expectorant), while also relaxing airway muscles (bronchodilator) to reduce wheeze and improve airflow.

Oral syrup for children; shake well before use and measure dose with a calibrated spoon/cup. Give as prescribed by the pediatrician, usually after food at evenly spaced intervals; ensure adequate fluids. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Use only under medical advice in children. Caution in asthma requiring regular controller therapy, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, diabetes, seizures, liver/kidney impairment. Do not use with other cough/cold medicines containing similar ingredients. Seek medical help if breathing difficulty, bluish lips, high fever, persistent cough >3 days, or allergic reaction occurs. May cause drowsiness or restlessness in some children.

MAO inhibitors (and within 14 days), beta-blockers, other sympathomimetics, theophylline, diuretics (risk of low potassium), digoxin, sedatives/antihistamines (additive drowsiness), certain antidepressants

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
