This medicine is used in the treatment of abdominal cramps, irritable bowel syndrome, period pain and colic.
Hyoscine Butylbromide relaxes the muscle in the wall of the gut, relieving the cramping pain of a spasm.
This is given by a doctor or a nurse. Do not attempt to inject it yourself unless you have been trained and told to. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.
