Treatment and prevention of calcium and vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis/osteopenia support, bone health in elderly, pregnancy and lactation supplementation (as advised), fracture healing support
Calcium provides the elemental calcium required for bone mineralization and normal neuromuscular function. Vitamin D3 increases intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate and helps maintain normal calcium levels, supporting stronger bones.
Oral tablet. Usually 1 tablet daily or as directed by the physician; preferably after food. Swallow with water; do not exceed recommended dose unless prescribed.
Constipation, nausea, abdominal discomfort, bloating, gas, vomiting, hypercalcemia (with excessive intake), kidney stone risk (predisposed patients)
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, history of kidney stones, hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis or malabsorption. Avoid excessive additional calcium/vitamin D from other supplements unless advised. Seek medical advice if symptoms of high calcium occur (persistent nausea, vomiting, constipation, confusion, excessive thirst/urination).
Tetracyclines, quinolones (e.g., ciprofloxacin/levofloxacin), bisphosphonates, levothyroxine, iron salts—separate administration by 2–4 hours; thiazide diuretics (may increase calcium levels); corticosteroids (reduce calcium absorption); digoxin (risk of arrhythmia with hypercalcemia)
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
