Calcimax K2 Plus Tablet contains Calcium Citrate Malate (1250mg) + Calcitriol (500mg) + Zinc (7.5mg) + Magnesium (50mg) + Vitamin K2-7 (50mcg) and is used for nutritional deficiencies. Prescription required.

Calcimax K2 Plus Tablet is a combination of vitamins and minerals. Calcium citrate malate is a form of calcium that is easily absorbed by the body. It provides a source of bioavailable calcium, which is readily utilized by the bones and other tissues. Calcitriol works by helping the body utilize more of the calcium present in ingested foods or supplements and regulating the body's production of parathyroid hormone. Zinc is needed for the body's immune system to work properly. It also promotes bone density and prevents bone loss. Magnesium is essential for bone mineralization and the formation of the bone matrix. Vitamin K2-7 supplementation helps in ameliorating peripheral neuropathy and improving bone and cardiovascular health.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Calcimax K2 Plus Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Do not take more than your doctor has advised. Vitamin D builds up in the body and too much raises blood calcium, causing thirst, frequent urination, nausea and confusion. This is a prescription-only medicine. Take it exactly as your doctor has directed, for the period directed. Do not share it with anyone else, even if their symptoms seem the same. Tell your doctor about every other medicine, supplement and herbal product you take. Report any unexpected or severe symptom to your doctor rather than stopping on your own. A supplement supports a normal diet; it does not prevent or treat infection. Zinc on an empty stomach commonly causes nausea — take it with food. Very high doses of vitamin A over a long period can be harmful, particularly in pregnancy. Do not take several products containing the same nutrient at once; the totals add up. A supplement is not a substitute for a balanced diet or for treating the cause of a symptom. Iron makes stools black and can cause constipation — this is expected, but tell your doctor if it troubles you. Keep iron-containing products well out of reach of children; an overdose in a small child is a medical emergency. Check the labels of everything you take so you do not double up on the same nutrient.

Calcium reduces the absorption of thyroid tablets, several antibiotics and iron — separate them by a few hours. Water tablets of the thiazide group raise calcium further when combined. Give your doctor and pharmacist a full list of everything you take. Zinc and other minerals reduce the absorption of some antibiotics — separate them by a few hours. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner, as high-dose vitamin E can add to its effect. Iron, calcium, zinc and magnesium reduce the absorption of thyroid tablets and several antibiotics — separate them by a few hours. Tea and coffee taken with iron reduce how much is absorbed; vitamin C increases it.
