Capsigyl-D Gel

Capsigyl-D Gel contains Diclofenac (1%w/w) + Menthol (10%w/w) + Camphor (5%w/w) + Methyl Salicylate (20%w/w) and is used for this medicine is used.

This medicine is used in the treatment of pain, inflammation, arthritis, fever, period pain, muscle pain, joint pain, sprains and strains and backache.

This medicine combines 4 active ingredients: Diclofenac, Menthol, Camphor and Methyl Salicylate. Diclofenac blocks the chemicals your body makes at a site of injury or inflammation, which reduces pain, swelling and fever. Menthol is applied to the skin over a painful area, where it produces a warming or cooling sensation and reduces local pain and inflammation. Camphor is applied to the skin over a painful area, where it produces a warming or cooling sensation and reduces local pain and inflammation. Methyl Salicylate is applied to the skin over a painful area, where it produces a warming or cooling sensation and reduces local pain and inflammation.

Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer and rub it in gently. Wash your hands before and after use, unless your hands are the area being treated. This is for use on the skin only — do not swallow it. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Take it with or just after food, and for the shortest time that works. Stop and seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, vomiting blood, or severe stomach pain — this group can cause bleeding from the stomach. Combining with a blood thinner or aspirin sharply raises the bleeding risk. Reduces the effect of blood pressure medicines and water tablets, and together with them can harm the kidneys. Never take two anti-inflammatory painkillers at the same time. Topical anti-inflammatory gels add to the effect of the same medicine taken by mouth; tell your doctor if you use both.
