Cardace 5 Tablet

Cardace 5 Tablet contains Ramipril 5 mg. Prescription required.

Treatment of hypertension, reduction of cardiovascular risk in high-risk patients, heart failure/post-myocardial infarction (as prescribed), and kidney protection in select patients.

Ramipril blocks ACE, reducing angiotensin II levels and aldosterone release. This lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing fluid retention.

Take as directed (often once daily), with or without food. Do not stop without medical advice. Periodic monitoring of BP, kidney function and serum potassium is recommended.

Dry cough, dizziness, low blood pressure, headache, fatigue, hyperkalemia, kidney function changes

Contraindicated in pregnancy. Angioedema can occur; seek emergency help if swelling of face/throat occurs. Caution in kidney impairment, dehydration, severe aortic stenosis and with diuretics. Avoid potassium supplements unless advised.

Potassium supplements/salt substitutes, spironolactone/eplerenone, NSAIDs, lithium, diuretics, ARBs/aliskiren, sacubitril/valsartan

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protect from moisture and light.
