Celin R Capsule

Celin R Capsule contains Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 500 mg (likely) capsule.

Vitamin C deficiency (scurvy), supplementation in increased requirement (poor diet, illness, convalescence), supports immunity and wound healing

Vitamin C is an essential water‑soluble vitamin and antioxidant. It is required for collagen synthesis, tissue repair, and immune function, and improves iron absorption from the gut.

Take orally as directed by physician. Commonly 1 capsule once daily after food with water; do not exceed recommended dose unless advised. Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

Nausea, stomach upset, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, heartburn

Use with caution in patients with history of kidney stones, severe renal impairment, hemochromatosis/thalassemia (risk of iron overload), or G6PD deficiency (high doses). High doses may increase risk of oxalate kidney stones. Diabetics may have interference with some glucose urine tests. If symptoms persist or allergic reaction occurs, seek medical advice.

Deferoxamine, warfarin (may affect INR in some cases), aluminium-containing antacids (increased aluminium absorption), iron salts (increased iron absorption), certain chemotherapy agents (theoretical antioxidant interaction)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
