Stroke recovery (ischemic stroke) and other cerebrovascular disorders, head injury/traumatic brain injury, cognitive impairment/memory disturbances, neurodegenerative conditions as advised by doctor

Citicoline (CDP-choline) is a precursor of phosphatidylcholine, an important component of neuronal cell membranes. It supports membrane repair and enhances synthesis of neurotransmitters (including acetylcholine), thereby helping improve neuronal function and recovery after brain injury/ischemia.

Take orally as prescribed by the physician. Swallow tablet with water; may be taken with or without food. Do not crush/chew unless advised. Maintain regular dosing; do not stop without medical advice.

Headache, nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, dizziness, insomnia, restlessness, flushing

Use under medical supervision. Caution in patients with severe vagotonia, history of seizures, or psychiatric illness. If you develop severe headache, allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty), or worsening symptoms, seek medical help. Dose adjustment may be needed in elderly or those with significant medical comorbidities.

Levodopa (may increase effects), other cholinergic drugs/acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, centrally acting medicines (sedatives/antipsychotics) may alter response; inform doctor about all medicines and supplements
