Citrahil Syrup

Citrahil Syrup contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate and is used for this medicine is used.

This medicine is used in the treatment of burning during urination, urinary tract discomfort and prevention of urinary stones.

Disodium Hydrogen Citrate makes the urine less acidic, which eases burning and discomfort while passing urine.

Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure it with the cup, spoon or dropper supplied — a kitchen spoon is not an accurate measure. Take it with water, after food. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Nausea, Loose motions, Stomach upset

This eases the symptoms; it does not treat a urinary infection. See a doctor if you have fever, back or flank pain, blood in the urine, or symptoms lasting more than a couple of days — an infection needs an antibiotic. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, heart failure or are on a salt-restricted diet; these preparations carry a sodium or potassium load.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Once opened, use it within the period printed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children.
