Perindopril erbumine 4 mg + Indapamide 1.25 mg (per tablet)

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially when combination therapy is required; may be used to reduce cardiovascular risk in suitable patients as prescribed.

Perindopril is an ACE inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels by reducing formation of angiotensin II, lowering blood pressure and strain on the heart. Indapamide is a thiazide-like diuretic that helps the body remove excess salt and water, further reducing blood pressure.

Oral tablet. Usually taken once daily in the morning, preferably before food, as directed by the doctor. Swallow whole with water; do not stop abruptly without medical advice.

Prescription medicine. Can cause hypotension, especially after the first dose or in dehydrated patients; maintain hydration. Monitor kidney function and electrolytes (potassium, sodium) periodically. Risk of angioedema (swelling of face/lips/tongue) with ACE inhibitors—seek urgent care if it occurs. Not recommended in pregnancy; can harm the fetus. Use caution in renal impairment, elderly, severe heart failure, liver disease, gout, diabetes, or if on salt substitutes containing potassium. Stop and consult doctor if persistent severe cough, fainting, or severe vomiting/diarrhea occurs.

Potassium supplements/salt substitutes and potassium-sparing diuretics (e.g., spironolactone, eplerenone) increasing hyperkalemia risk, other antihypertensives and diuretics (additive hypotension), NSAIDs (reduced antihypertensive effect and kidney risk), lithium (toxicity risk), aliskiren/ARBs (increased renal impairment/hyperkalemia risk), corticosteroids and laxatives (electrolyte imbalance), antidiabetic medicines (may need monitoring), alcohol (increased dizziness)

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children.
