Cyclomeff Tablet

Cyclomeff Tablet contains Mefenamic Acid (250mg) + Dicyclomine (20mg) and is used for cyclomeff 20 mg/250 mg. Prescription required.

Cyclomeff 20 mg/250 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of menstrual pain and colicky pain. It relieves colicky pain associated with intestinal, biliary, and ureteric colic.

Cyclomeff 20 mg/250 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Mefenamic Acid. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling). Together, they relieve menstrual cramps and colicky pain.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cyclomeff 20 mg/250 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.<br>This will help to avoid stomach upset.

Take it with or just after food, and for the shortest time that works. Stop and seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, vomiting blood, or severe stomach pain — this group can cause bleeding from the stomach. Long or high-dose use raises the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney injury, particularly in older people and those already at risk. Avoid if you are dehydrated or have an illness with vomiting or loose motions — the kidneys are vulnerable then. Must be avoided in the last three months of pregnancy. Severe abdominal pain, particularly with fever or vomiting, needs a doctor rather than a painkiller or antispasmodic. May cause blurred vision and drowsiness — do not drive until you know how it affects you. Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, an enlarged prostate or difficulty passing urine.

Combining with a blood thinner or aspirin sharply raises the bleeding risk. Reduces the effect of blood pressure medicines and water tablets, and together with them can harm the kidneys. Never take two anti-inflammatory painkillers at the same time. Adds to the dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness caused by antihistamines and some antidepressants.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
