Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) with symptoms like sneezing, runny/blocked nose, nasal itching; nasal inflammation.

Budesonide is an intranasal corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the nasal lining. It decreases release of inflammatory mediators and reduces swelling, mucus production, and irritation, improving nasal symptoms.

For intranasal use only. Shake well before use; prime the pump before first use and if not used for several days. Blow nose, keep head slightly forward, spray into each nostril as prescribed; avoid spraying onto nasal septum. Use regularly for best effect; may be used with or without food.

Do not use if allergic to budesonide. Use with caution in nasal infections, recent nasal surgery/trauma, untreated fungal/bacterial/viral infections (including TB), or recurrent nosebleeds. Prolonged/high-dose use may rarely cause systemic steroid effects (adrenal suppression, slowed growth in children), cataract/glaucoma; seek medical advice if vision changes occur. Rinse/clean spray nozzle regularly; do not share the spray.

Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase budesonide levels (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin, ritonavir/cobicistat-containing regimens). Concurrent corticosteroids (oral/inhaled) may add to steroid burden. Inform doctor about all medicines.

Store below 25°C, protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep bottle upright and cap tightly closed; keep out of reach of children.
