This medicine is used in the treatment of heart conditions, angina and irregular heartbeat.

Digon Tablet is a cardiac glycoside. It works by correcting irregular heartbeat to a normal rhythm and increases the force with which the heart muscle contracts with every heartbeat. This makes the heart pump more efficiently and increases blood circulation throughout the body.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with or without food, at the same time each day. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.
