Ecosprin Gold 20 Capsule

Ecosprin Gold 20 Capsule contains Aspirin (as enteric-coated) 75 mg + Clopidogrel 75 mg + Rosuvastatin 20 mg. Prescription required.

Prevention of heart attack and stroke in patients with coronary artery disease, post-angioplasty/stent, acute coronary syndrome risk reduction, prevention of blood clots with high cholesterol

Aspirin and clopidogrel reduce platelet aggregation by inhibiting thromboxane A2 formation and blocking P2Y12 receptors, lowering clot formation risk. Rosuvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase to reduce LDL cholesterol and stabilize atherosclerotic plaques.

Take as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time. Swallow capsule whole; do not crush or chew. Can be taken with or without food; take with food if gastric irritation occurs.

Heartburn, nausea, stomach pain, indigestion, bruising, nosebleed, headache, muscle pain, weakness, raised liver enzymes

Bleeding risk (especially with ulcers, recent surgery, bleeding disorders); stop only on doctor advice. Watch for black stools, vomiting blood, unusual bruising. Rosuvastatin may cause muscle injury (seek care for muscle pain with fever) and liver problems; periodic liver tests may be advised. Use caution in kidney disease, elderly, and in uncontrolled hypothyroidism. Avoid in active bleeding or severe liver disease.

Warfarin, heparin, DOACs (apixaban/rivaroxaban), NSAIDs (ibuprofen/naproxen), SSRIs/SNRIs, corticosteroids, proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole/esomeprazole may reduce clopidogrel effect), strong CYP inhibitors, cyclosporine, gemfibrozil, fibrates, macrolides, azole antifungals

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
