Generally safe
Eltroxin 50 mcg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

Hypothyroidism, thyroid hormone replacement therapy, TSH suppression when indicated (doctor prescribed)
Levothyroxine is synthetic T4 that is converted to T3 in the body. It replaces missing thyroid hormone and helps regulate metabolism and TSH.
Take once daily on an empty stomach with water, ideally 30-60 minutes before breakfast. Maintain a consistent routine and avoid taking with calcium/iron/antacids; keep a 4-hour gap. Regular TSH checks guide dose adjustments.
