Epnone T 10 Tablet contains Eplerenone (25mg) + Torasemide (10mg) and is used for congestive heart failure post. Prescription required.

This medicine is a combination of eplerenone and torasemide. They act on different parts of your kidney to remove extra water and certain electrolytes while maintaining the potassium balance in your body. Elimination of extra fluid leads to a reduction in blood volume, causing a drop in elevated blood pressure. It then enables the heart to pump more efficiently.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Epnone T 25mg/10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take it in the morning so that passing urine does not disturb your sleep. Your doctor will check your salts and kidney function with blood tests — do not skip them. Report muscle cramps, marked weakness, confusion or an irregular heartbeat; these can be signs your potassium or sodium has fallen. In hot weather or during an illness with vomiting or loose motions, tell your doctor — you may become dehydrated quickly. This water tablet keeps potassium rather than losing it. Do not take potassium supplements or salt substitutes with it unless your doctor has told you to.

Anti-inflammatory painkillers blunt the effect and can strain the kidneys. Lithium and digoxin levels are affected; tell your doctor if you take either. Potassium-sparing types must not be combined with potassium supplements without supervision.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
