Treatment and prevention of vitamin E deficiency, adjunct antioxidant therapy in conditions with increased oxidative stress, nutritional supplement for skin and hair health
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that protects cell membranes from damage caused by free radicals. It supports normal immune function and helps maintain healthy skin by reducing oxidative stress.
Take by mouth as advised by doctor. Generally 1 capsule daily, preferably after food (fat-containing meal improves absorption). Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Nausea, diarrhea, stomach upset, abdominal cramps, headache, fatigue, rash
Use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders or those taking blood thinners (may increase bleeding risk), vitamin K deficiency, or before surgery (inform doctor). Do not exceed recommended dose; high doses over long periods may increase risk of bleeding and other adverse effects. Consult a doctor if you have chronic illness, malabsorption, or are taking multiple supplements.
Warfarin and other anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs (aspirin, clopidogrel), vitamin K, cholestyramine/colestipol, orlistat (reduced absorption), chemotherapy/radiotherapy (antioxidants may interfere—consult oncologist)
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Evit 200 Capsule, Evion LC 200 Capsule, Vitamin E 200 mg Capsule (generic), A to Z Gold Softgel (multivitamin with vitamin E), Supradyn Softgel (multivitamin with vitamin E)
