Vitamin E deficiency, antioxidant supplementation, nutritional support in deficiency states
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect cell membranes from oxidative damage. It supports normal immune function and may help in deficiency-related neuromuscular symptoms.
Take as directed by your doctor, usually once daily with food (preferably with a meal containing fat) for better absorption. Do not exceed recommended dose.
Nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps, fatigue, headache
High doses may increase bleeding risk, especially in people on blood thinners or with vitamin K deficiency. Use caution in bleeding disorders and before surgery. Not a substitute for a balanced diet.
Anticoagulants (warfarin), antiplatelets (aspirin, clopidogrel), other high-dose antioxidants, chemotherapy/radiation (consult doctor)
