Relief of productive (wet) cough with chest congestion; helps loosen and expel mucus in conditions like acute bronchitis and respiratory tract infections (symptomatic treatment).

Expectorant/mucolytic cough syrups work by thinning and loosening thick mucus in the airways and helping it move out with coughing. This reduces chest congestion and makes breathing easier.

Shake well before use. Measure with a cup/spoon and take by mouth as advised by a doctor. Generally taken 2–3 times daily; can be taken with or without food. Maintain adequate fluid intake.

Do not use in children without medical advice. Use with caution in asthma, severe liver/kidney disease, gastric ulcer, or if cough persists >7 days, is recurrent, or is accompanied by fever, wheezing, shortness of breath, or blood in sputum—seek medical attention. Avoid driving/operating machinery if it causes drowsiness. Do not combine with other cough/cold medicines unless prescribed.

Other sedatives (alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids), other antihistamines/cough suppressants, MAO inhibitors (if formulation contains dextromethorphan), medicines causing drowsiness; exact interactions depend on the ingredients.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
