Eylar Forte Tablet

Eylar Forte Tablet contains Propranolol (40mg) + Flunarizine (10mg) and is used for preventing migraine. Prescription required.

Prevention of Migraine

Eylar Forte 40mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: propranolol and flunarizine. Propranolol is a beta blocker, and flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work together by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold for migraine activation. Flunarizine also helps in inhibiting cortical spreading depression (CSD—electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Eylar Forte 40mg/10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have liver disease. Avoid use in children under 12 years.

May interact with MAO inhibitors, other antihistamines, and alcohol.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
