Nutritional supplement to prevent or treat zinc deficiency; may be used as adjunct in poor appetite, general weakness, convalescence and to support immunity (as advised by doctor).
Zinc is an essential trace element required for immune function, wound healing, taste/smell and many enzymatic reactions. Supplementation restores body zinc levels and supports normal metabolic and immune processes.
Tablet; take as directed by physician, usually once daily after food with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose; separate from iron/calcium supplements or antibiotics by 2–3 hours if advised.
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, diarrhoea, metallic taste
Use with caution in kidney disease. Excess zinc use may cause copper deficiency with long-term high doses. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other supplements/medicines, consult a doctor. Stop and seek medical advice if allergic reactions occur.
