Reusable menstrual hygiene product for collecting menstrual flow during periods

The menstrual cup is inserted into the vagina where it opens to form a gentle seal and collects menstrual blood rather than absorbing it. It can be emptied, washed and reused, providing leak protection for several hours depending on flow.

Wash hands before use. Sterilize the cup by boiling in water for 5–10 minutes before first use and after each cycle. Fold and insert into the vagina; ensure it opens fully. Empty every 4–8 hours (up to 12 hours depending on comfort and flow), rinse with clean water/mild unscented soap, and reinsert. Remove by breaking the seal (pinch base) and gently pull out.

Do not use if you have active vaginal/urinary infection, unexplained vaginal bleeding, severe pelvic pain, or immediately after certain vaginal surgeries unless advised by a doctor. Maintain strict hygiene; sterilize properly. Do not keep inserted beyond recommended duration. If you experience fever, foul-smelling discharge, rash, dizziness or severe pain, remove and seek medical advice (rare TSS risk with internal menstrual products). Use caution with IUD users—consult a clinician and ensure seal is broken before removal.

Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Preferably keep in a breathable pouch; avoid airtight storage when damp.
