Monograph
Broad-spectrum sunscreen formulation (exact UV filters and actives not specified)
Helps protect skin from UVA/UVB radiation and photoaging; used to prevent sunburn, tanning, and pigmentation due to sun exposure.
Forms a protective film on the skin containing UV filters that absorb, reflect, and/or scatter UVA and UVB rays. This reduces UV-induced oxidative stress and skin damage that can lead to sunburn, dark spots, and premature aging.
For external use only. Apply generously and evenly on face and exposed areas 15–20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming, sweating, or towel drying. Use daily, even on cloudy days.
Mild burning or stinging, skin irritation, redness, itching, dryness, acneiform eruptions, allergic rash, eye irritation if it gets into eyes
Avoid contact with eyes and broken/irritated skin; rinse well with water if contact occurs. Discontinue and consult a doctor if rash, swelling, or persistent irritation develops. Patch test if you have sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children. Not for ingestion.
No clinically significant drug interactions expected with topical sunscreen; avoid layering with other irritating topicals if sensitivity occurs (e.g., strong acids/retinoids)
Store at room temperature (below 25–30°C), away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep cap tightly closed; do not freeze.
